Austin Spine and Therapy would like to introduce another new team member Celeste Siebenaler. Celeste is originally from Austin ,TX. She specializes in many massage techniques such as:

Swedish Massage: Swedish massage is the most popular type of massage in the US and is often referred to as Relaxation Massage. It uses a system of long gliding strokes, and other techniques on the outer layers of muscles, to increase circulation, mental and physical relaxation, and decrease stress and muscle tension.

Deep Massage:
Deep massage releases chronic patterns of muscular tension and is usually on a focused problem area. This massage is done with greater pressure and effects deeper layers of muscle than Swedish/Relaxation Massage.Sports MassageSports massage is a type of Swedish Massage that stimulates circulation of blood and lymph fluids. Some Sports Massage movements use trigger point therapy to break down adhesions (knots in the muscles) and increase range of motion. There are four types of Sports Massage:  1. Pre-event sports massage -- a short, stimulating massage 15 - 45 minutes before the event, directed toward the parts of the body that will be involved in the exertion.  2. Post-event sports massage -- given within an hour or two of the event, to normalize the body's tissues.  3. Restorative sports massage -- given during training to allow the athlete to train harder and with less injury.  4. Rehabilitative sports massage -- aimed at alleviating pain due to injury and returning the body to health.

Pregnancy/Postpartum Massage: Specifically for women in their second and third trimesters and/or soon after the birth of their baby (Postpartum Massage).
In most sessions the client will be in a side-lying position, or elevated with pillows to position you upright, as soothing & correct strokes are applied for mom to be.

Hot Stones :Many people find the warmth of the hot stones to be comforting & relaxing.
Hot stone massage is suited to people who tend to feel chilly or who have cold feet, also suited for people who have muscle tension but prefer a lighter massage. The heat relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist to work the muscles without using deep pressure. People also get hot stone massage for a variety of health conditions, such as back pain/aches, poor circulation, osteoarthritis and arthritic pain, stress anxiety & tension, insomnia & depression.

Chair Massage: Chair massage can be scheduled for any event, meeting, party, benefit or gathering. It is also a great treat for guests and or employee's at your place of business.  This massage is done while fully clothed, without having to lay down & with little to no use of lotions or oils.
